If so, Building Better Opportunities (BBO) may be able to help.
BBO provides free 1:1 advice and practical support to help people overcome barriers in their life and get closer to employment. Everyone has different barriers but these could include care and parenting responsibilities, mental health struggles, disability, transport problems, offending history, access to technology or long-term unemployment.
As barriers are unique to an individual, so are BBO pathways. For some this could be intensive CV advice and interview support, for others it may be volunteering, placements and work experiences.
To be eligible for support you must be aged 19 years or over and not in training, education or employment. At the Daventry Volunteer Centre we offer a friendly, open space to discuss these issues, so please do get in touch to find out more:
