C2C Social Action is looking for one or more female volunteers to join their women’s gardening project at an allotment site in Kingsthorpe.
The volunteers will work alongside a member of staff to help support their women service users who have been in the criminal justice system or are at risk of being so.
They run therapeutic gardening sessions for the women and grow a range of fruit, flowers and vegetables for service users and volunteers to take home.
Available sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-2pm.
DBS required. C2C will process.
Local travel expenses will be reimbursed.
