On-going COVID-19 Support Volunteering with Daventry Volunteer Centre

We are looking for volunteers to help with our on-going COVID-19 volunteer support, helping isolated elderly or disabled people, and others having to self-isolate, with Shopping, prescriptions, other deliveries, or telephone befriending.

Many elderly and/or vulnerable people who do not have any other support still need our help with their shopping and prescriptions, and with telephone befriending until we are able to do 1-1 visiting again.

Are you able to give some time each week to help an isolated elderly or vulnerable person in your local area? We would love to hear from you.

Being able to drive is helpful as we support people across the Districts, but not essential, as we are able to match volunteers to isolated elderly people who live in the same local area as you.
