As our services grow to better support the local community’s needs, so does our need to ensure that our workers, volunteers, and service users have a safe working environment.
We are looking to find an enthusiastic person that (with potential supervision and coaching) can assist us in maintaining our H&S needs, so that we can continue the great work that we do.
Tasks would include assisting in assessing risk, implementing practical controls, checking compliance, and helping the management team to work through its H&S plan.
Hope is a positive and engaging organization, full of people who want to make a difference in the local community, and as such they bring that positivity into the workplace and all they do.
• You will receive coaching and support in H&S, which could help you in future employment.• You will develop vital team building skills and invaluable exposure to a work and charity environment.• You will have access to news announcements, volunteer events and potential training.• Following a successful placement, we can provide a reference.
The Hope Centre is an equal opportunities employer.
Are you someone who’s passionate about H&S (possibly with experience, or someone who would like to gain some)?
Are you someone with good computer literacy skills and a keen eye for detail?
Are you a positive person that can spare a few hours a week to help a local poverty and homelessness charity?
If so, then you could be exactly what we’re looking for.
No additional details recorded for this opportunity.
When can I volunteer?
