Pre-loved bookshop volunteer - Stoke Bruerne

What's involved?

Do you have a passion for reading and literature? At Stoke Bruerne the Trust are looking for volunteers to support with the pre-loved bookshop.

Volunteers will support with:

  • sorting and organising books for display 
  • keeping storage areas and shelving areas tidy and well presented 
  • proactively getting new books in (could use social media or local contacts) 
  • looking at ways to grow charitable donations in the book shop


What skills are they looking for?

Friendly, organised book lover who would like to help grow their charitable second-hand book offer on site

Sorting/tidying, presentation skills, able to talk to people, can think creatively about how to make the best of the bookshop

Availability Details

The museum is usually open 9-5 Monday – Sunday. Volunteers would be welcome to attend between those times.
