Support Line Volunteer - Rape Crisis

Rape Crisis South London (RASASC) works in partnership with Rape Crisis England and Wales on the 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line.

The support line is open 365 days a year to anyone who has survived rape and sexual abuse, offering specialised confidential emotional support and referral information both on the phone and through webchat.

Availability Details

The training dates for 2024 are as follows: Spring- 10am-4pm Wednesdays and Thursdays 10th April and 11th April 17th April and 18th April 8th May and 9th May 15th May and 16th May 22nd May and 23rd May 29th May and 30th May Summer- 10am-4pm Wednesdays and Thursdays 7th Aug and 8th Aug 14th and 15th Aug 21st and 22nd Aug 4th and 5th Sept 11th and 12th Sept 18th and 19th Sept They may also consider another course later in the year if required. The subsequent volunteering is flexible - volunteers can choose from 3 hour shifts between 9am and midnight.
