Theatre Designer - Outside In Theatre (Voluntary Role)

We're a local theatre company that focuses on creating original interactive theatre productions and projects for children and families that are inclusive, accessible and have a strong theme of wellbeing embedded in the experience.  As Volunteer Theatre Designer, you’ll work closely with the creative team to collaborate on reimagining non-theatre spaces for audiences and designing for immersive, site-responsive and installation-based productions. We are seeking someone with an interest in set design who enjoys working imaginatively with story, audience experience, and non-traditional performance spaces.

Skills

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in theatre design. This role is ideal for someone with design and prop-making skills, a passion for creative arts, and an ability to work collaboratively. Your contribution will help us to continue delivering high-quality theatre experiences to our community. This role would suit an emerging designer, recent graduate, or an experienced practitioner wanting to develop work within immersive and participatory theatre.
