Towpath Taskforce - Norton Junction

Join the Canal & River Trust's towpath taskforce on the 1st Wednesday of each month at Norton Junction. Sessions typically run from 11am-3pm but you can stay for as long as you like.

It’s a great opportunity to try low-commitment volunteering with the Trust. Typically, as a team of volunteers you will be involved in a number of tasks such as paint locks, towpaths repairs, carry out vegetation management and much more.

Skills

No experience is needed you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear, ideally boots or wellies.
