If you enjoy talking to people and listening to their life stories, this volunteer role is for you.
As a volunteer home befriender, you will be matched with a person who is currently experiencing loneliness and isolation. Your role as a befriender is to visit them on a regular basis, at a time that suits you both. To provide some much needed conversation.
Many volunteers experience the joy of making new friendships, sharing memories and knowing they are giving back to their local community.
Volunteers needed to cover postcodes NN1-NN5.
Skills
No formal qualifications are required.
We are looking for people who are good listeners, enjoy talking to people and have a good sense of humour.
The ability to visit people in their own home is required.
