Volunteer Logistics Support

Key Activities: Volunteers take part in a wide range of activities, including: • Moving vehicles and equipment • Assisting with inventory checks • Assisting with the unpacking/packing of equipment receipts and deliveries • You will be able to pick the logistics role you wish to undertake i.e. only moving vehicles, only assisting in stores etc


Experience/skills/qualifications required for the role: • Good interpersonal skills and confidence • A full UK driving licence appropriate to the vehicle being driven • The ability to acquire and develop (with training) the knowledge to help you assist with stores in the emergency services • Ability to work well within a team and to follow instructions • Commitment and reliability • Commitment to wear a uniform (supplied) where necessary and maintain a smart appearance when representing the Emergency Services • To behave in a manner that reflects the professionalism of Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue
