Group/Drop In Supporter

Attends and supports the delivery of a Support Group or Drop In Session. Before starting the role, volunteers must attend a Support Group and complete safeguarding training.

Skills

This is an ideal opportunity for volunteers with lived experience, empathy, good communication skills, with the opportunity to develop social and mentoring skills.

Availability Details

Our Support Groups are held in Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough and Rushden and are 1.5 to 2hrs in duration, mostly in the evening, but some daytime session are also held. Volunteers commit to attend a minimum of 1 group per month and attendance must be planned and scheduled in advance.
