Pumped Up Group Support Volunteer

Pumped Up is a dedicated support group to those living with heart failure and their Carers. The group provides education, peer support and an opportunity for people to come together share their experiences, learn from professionals and each other in a positive, social environment. Many people can feel anxious about attending a group being met by a friendly face helps help put people at ease and to make the group a welcoming supportive environment.

As a volunteer you will assist staff in: Setting up clearing away the venue this may involve physically moving chairs and tables. Prepare refreshments Participate in activities offering support where needed

What you can expect from us: Each volunteer is supported by a member of staff and the volunteer manager. You will be offered training opportunities, regular supervision. Wellness plans and risk assessments provide an opportunity to ensure we provide the right support for you.
