Treasurer

The Treasurer within the Scouts organization is responsible for the financial administration and oversight of the group.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Managing and monitoring the financial activities of the group and its sections.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports and accounts to the Trustee Board. 
• Ensuring accurate maintenance of financial reports and supporting documents.
• Preparing the Annual Statement of Accounts for independent examination and approval. 
• Upholding the responsibilities of a Trustee Board as outlined in The Scout Association’s Policy, Organisation and Rules. 
• Participating in Trustee Board meetings.
