About
Our purpose is to create strong partnerships with and between local community groups, businesses, the farming community, parishes, educational and faith organisations, and local residents to help deliver a cohesive Climate and Nature Action Plan for West Northamptonshire over the next 5 years, designed to focus on adaptation and mitigation.
WNCAN's Steering Group currently represents a broad coalition including Northants County Association of Local Councils (NCALC), West Northamptonshire Council (WNC), Climate Action-West Northamptonshire (CA-WN), the county’s Lieutenancy, Bugbrooke and West Hunsbury Parish Councils, Clean Air Northamptonshire, Garden Organic, and local community volunteers.
