Active General Maintenance Volunteer

As a Heritage Railway there are constant upgrades to the station and track areas that need completing, many of which involve lifting, moving and handling bulky/heavier materials.

We are looking for people who are physically fit, so able to assist with these ad-hoc projects around the railway that we could call on when needed.  If you join us as a volunteer in this capacity, be assured you won't need to visit a gym!

Medical clearance arranged by the railway, will be undertaken before volunteers commence any duties.

Skills

• Physical strength and being able to work as part of a team is essential.
• A good awareness of health & safety, although full training will be provided.
• Ability/qualifications to operate machinery a bonus.
