Home Visitor/Befriender

Have you found that lockdown has shown how important the company of others can be? Has this inspired you to help make a difference within your own community?

If so, NAB needs you!

We are currently seeking volunteer home visitors to befriend some of our most isolated service users.

The role involves visiting a visually impaired person in their own home, helping them feel less alone.

Tasks could include reading mail, going out for coffee/a walk, and providing a friendly face/conversation.

Our current priorities are in the Daventry District, Brackley, Kingsthorpe, Geddington, Corby and Wellingborough areas.

Full support and training provided.
