Beacons is a welcoming, inclusive group for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families. We’re looking for kind, reliable volunteers to help us create a safe, calm, and supportive space where children can feel confident and included.
Volunteers support our sessions by welcoming families and helping them feel comfortable, supporting children during gentle activities and play, helping with setting up and packing away, offering a calm, friendly presence during sessions.and helping manage our food pantry for families that are affected by the cost of living crisis.
Skills
You don’t need qualifications or previous experience. We’re looking for people who are: Patient, caring, and understanding Happy to work with children and families Reliable and friendly Willing to learn and follow guidance Experience with SEND is welcome but not essential.Details
