Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters through our 7 hospices, Grief Kind spaces and online counselling and bereavement services.
We are a soon to be opening shop (late January 2026) so we are looking to find friendly people in a variety of roles in the shop to help build on our team. We are currently very short of volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can spare a couple of hours on either of those days we would welcome you to get in touch. There are plenty of opportunities to make the shop and the role your own.
A few things you'll help us with will be receiving donations from supporters, helping us to price and display our items for sale, welcoming and serving customers on the till and creating engaging and creative window displays.
In return for your enthusiasm, you will have the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team, gain new skills and experience, and most importantly contribute towards making a difference to our service users and their families.
We are an inclusive charity and welcome all people with differing abilities and support needs.
Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18.
