Social Group Lead Volunteers.

Do you have spare time and are looking for something fulfilling to do? Do you like to organising events? Are you looking to expand your experiences and knowledge or enhance your CV?

NAB Sight Support for Northamptonshire are looking for 2 x Northampton Social Club Lead Volunteers that are able to organise and run events.

Our social groups take place monthly throughout the year allowing sight impaired individuals and their carers to meet and enjoy the company of others in a similar situation. They are a fun and informal social event which may include a lunch, outings and/or a variety of different speakers.

The Lead Volunteer will need to take on the running and organising of these events, sourcing day trips/meals/speakers and organising raffles. You will need to be well organised, confident in talking to a variety of different people, trustworthy, reliable and enthusiastic about making a difference.

Skills

Full training and support will be provided.

Roles require: two character references, a clear DBS check and a committed attitude.
