Recruiting

Training is important

We believe that allowing staff and volunteers to undertake training and development is vital for the morale of the people involved and also helps to ensure that the organisation maintains quality standards.

Community Action Northants is pleased to be able to offer a range of quality training to enhance and develop skills for voluntary sector staff, volunteers and trustees.

A range of training options are usually available including:

  • Managing Volunteers
  • Lone Worker Personal Safety training with an overview of Safeguarding
  • Adult Protection for those working with Vulnerable Adults
  • Organising a successful AGM
  • Roles & Responsibilities of Trustees
  • Basic First Aid
NB – Due to government guidelines with respect to the Covid-19 pandemic, no face-to-face training is currently taking place.

However, on-line training specifically for the voluntary sector is available from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
