Controllers play a vital role in the effective coordination of Northants 4x4 Response operations during incidents and events. Acting as the central point of communication, controllers manage incoming taskings from partner agencies, deploy volunteer drivers and vehicles, and maintain an accurate overview of ongoing activities. They ensure that information is clearly recorded and shared, monitor the safety and welfare of volunteers, and adapt to changing situations as incidents develop. This role is essential in ensuring a professional, organised, and timely response to support emergency services and community needs.

Availability Details
Incidents are hard to plan for so we try to maintain a good sized team in order to be available when incidents occur. Planed events are often known weeks in advance. As a volunteer we ask that you do your best to cover events but understand that may not always be possible
