Previously known as Explorer Scout Leaders or Assistant Leaders, Scouting has adopted the team approach and therefore we are looking for new team members for Explorer Units. Northampton District is currently recruiting to provide Scouting for the 14-18 age range. We have 5 units at the moment and intend to increase this to 8 over the coming year or two to better provide Scouting for this older age range.
Skills
In scouting, a team member's role is to actively participate in group activities, follow instructions from the leader, contribute their skills and ideas, support other team members, and work collaboratively towards achieving the overall goals of the scouting program, which often include developing personal skills, outdoor competency, and community service.
