Are you a qualified? Would you be willing to volunteer some of your time to help boost the morale of those affected by domestic abuse?
Arriving in refuge is tough and starting again in a new area takes courage and resilience. We would love to be able to treat residents to a haircut once they have settled into refuge life; to give them a chance to feel more like themselves and to build their feelings of self-worth.
If you have the right skills and would be happy to offer your time on an ad hoc basis (just a couple of hours each month), then we’d love to hear from you. We're specifically looking for volunteers to cover Daventry, Corby and Wellingborough.
