Many of our children moving to refuge experience a delay in receiving a school place. We'd like to bridge this educational gap and are looking for volunteers to help.
If you have teaching experience (primary or secondary) and are passionate about education, we'd love to hear from you! Working closely with our specialist children's team the volunteer tutor will work to plan and deliver learning opportunities on a one-to-one or small group basis.
The role requires just 2 hours from you each week (between 9am-4pm, Monday - Friday). Please note that this role may be a little ad-hoc as families move into refuge and school placements are found.
Skills
Teaching experience is a must - either primary or secondary. Access to teaching resources would be a bonus. A drive and passion to help children thrive in education.Details
