Job Club Coordinator support - (16-26)

We are looking to set up a biweekly club supporting young people build confidence, develop employability skills and access job opportunities in a supportive environment. In order for us to build this we need your support and are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support us.  

As a Job Club Coordinator Assistant, you’ll work alongside staff and other volunteers to help organise sessions, support participants, and ensure the club runs smoothly.

There are lots of ways you can get involved and can include support such as: 

  • Assisting with setting up and running bi-weekly job club sessions
  • Helping young people with CV writing, job applications, and interview prep
  • Taking part in mock interview sessions.
  • Talking about your career path
  • Coordinating guest speakers, workshops, and employer visits
  • Tracking attendance and feedback to improve the program
  • Promoting the club through social media and local networks
  • Providing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere

Skills

Our ideal volunteer can come from any background but most of all must be passionate about youth development and employment.

Depending on the area you would like to support, we are keen to speak to anyone who may have the following skills

  • Friendly, patient, and approachable
  • Experience in HR, education, or youth work
  • Any IT skills such as Microsoft suite
  • Creativity and Social media skills
  • DBS check may be required depending on location - but this will be done by us

Availability Details

Whilst the sessions will be held in person at the vent the afternoons - some of the organisation and support can be done remotely. We also welcome anyone who can do adhoc mock interviews either in person or online.
