Volunteer Driver - To Medical Appointments

As a volunteer driver you will be taking older people from their homes to medical appointments, this could be their local GP or local hospital. It could also involve taking people to get their COVID vaccine. It is a door to door service. You will be given full training, uniform and expenses for your journeys. You do have the option to use our Disabled access vehicle called Totem which is wheelchair accessible. This is an alternative if you would prefer not to use your own vehicle.

Skills

A friendly manner is essential as is a full clean drivers licence.

Availability Details

This role is flexible as we need people every day of the week. You can give us details of your availability when you complete the application process. We aim to accomodate everyone but we do hope you can offer a minimum of 2 half days or 1 full day a week.
